Earlier this month word came that there is a Nobuyuki Tsujii Interview apparing in Japan's "Audo Accessories" Magazine, complete with photos taken at Nobu's Tokyo home, with Nobu, mother Itsuko and his grandfather. The article is clearly a promotion for audio equipment for LP recordings (the analog type), but it also provides a glimpse of Nobu's family and home.

First from the CD collection is the
Newly released "Chopin: Etudes & Ballades"
I was surprised that Mr. Tsujii was surprised.

ラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲をプレヴィンの指揮、アシュケナージのピアノで。
アシュケナージと辻井さんは以前からご親交厚く、この間も共演されたばかり。
来年も海外の演奏会でご一緒されるのだとか。

いつ子さんは、「このコンチェルトの3番には涙が出てしまいました・・」
と後にご感想頂き、
Rachmaninoff's piano concerto conducted by Previn with Ashkanzy on the piano.
Ashkenazy and Mr. Tsujii have long been close friends,
And they have just co-starred [in Sydney].
I heard that they will be performing again overseas next year. [Berlin, in May 2017]

Mrs. Itsuko said she was deeply impressed by this recording, "I was in tears listening to the third movement of this concerto · ·"

LPでもリリースされました。
このPrestigeで、辻井さんご自身のレコードを聴く・・それもとても素敵ですが、
おじいさまがにとって、愛機だったプレーヤーで、
孫―それも世界的なピアニスト―のレコードを聴かれる・・
これってどんなに素敵なことか・・。
By the way, the "Plays Liszt" album of Mr. Tsujii on LP was released recently.
Listening to his own record on the Prestige [a LP player] ... that must be cool.
And for the grandfather, the player is a love machine.
Listening to the recording of his grandchild ... a global pianist...
How delightful that must be.
