Japan's BS-Fuji TV has an ongoing series of documentaries about Nobu's oversea travels and performances. This year, Nobuyuiki Tsujii was in Paris in October (see Paris Recital -- October 23 2017), and a film crew was on hand. The product is a TV special to air on December 17.

Chopin composed a prodigious number of piano works, - a genius who, in a lifetime devoted to the piano, produced beautiful melodies one after another; he is called a poet.In addition, he pursued the possibilities of the musical instrument to the utmost and is a composer who built the foundation of the modern piano.This time, Nobuyuki Tsujii goes on a journey to touch Chopin's life. A full-scale debut on a stage in Paris, the capital of art.It is a one-night program that requires advanced technique and mental power.The limits of a pianist is challenged.
2017年10月23日に開催される辻井伸行のパリ公演に密着。リハーサルから本番まで密着し、今年29歳を迎えた辻井がどのような気持ちで公演に臨んでいるのか、演奏後どのような感想を持っているのか真の姿に迫る。
さらに公演後、今回演奏したショパンゆかりの地を訪れ、様々な体験をする。
This show follows closely the Paris performance by Nobuyuki Tsujii on October 23, 2017.
From rehearsal to actual production, we explore how Tsujii, who had just celebrated his 29th birthday, dealt with the performance, and the impression of his performance after the concert [I think that means some audiences are interviewed for their opinions.]

The 7th installment of BS Fuji's series on Nobuyuki Tsujii and world music will closely follow his Paris performance held at the Champs Elysees Theater in October this year. "Nobuyuki Tsujii × Paris" will be broadcast for 2 hours starting at 9 pm on the 17th.
辻井が強い思いを抱く曲とともに異国を訪ね、音楽を通じて人々との交流を深めるオリジナル企画。これまでに敬愛するラフマニノフゆかりのスイスで奏でた「ピアノ協奏曲第２番」（ラフマニノフ）、世界の辻井へと成長を遂げる原点の場所となったニューヨークでの「ピアノ協奏曲第５番」（ベートーベン）などが紹介され、今回はさらにショパンゆかりの地も訪れる。
Tsujii visits each foreign country with a strong feeling for music. In previous installments we have seen him in overseas visits such as performing Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 in Switzerland, where Rachmaninov's music is beloved; and in New York where he performed Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No. 5". This time he travels to the site of Chopin. [Chopin spent most of his adult life in Paris.]
