Each year, Nobuyuki Tsujii launches a new recital program around New Year Day, the biggest public holiday in Japan. The program is usually launched in Japan at the start of a nationwide recital tour.
This coming year (2020), the Japan recital tour (titled "Ballad") starts on January 8, with 14 performances that end on March 2. These performances have sold out for months, with the exception of one (in Niigata, which started selling tickets only recently.)
In addition, there are three known performances of the program outside Japan: On January 14, Nobu makes the first performance of the program overseas in Paris. Other performances outside Japan include a recital in Austria in May, and two in U.K., also in May.
This is pure speculation, but I strongly suspect Nobu will perform recitals of this program in Germany in the fall.

Below is a list of the known upcoming performances:
On the recital program are works by Franz Schubert, Alexander Scriabin and Fryderyk Chopin, as follows:
The Schubert impromptus are short pieces. The Chopin ballades and the Scriabin Sonata are all works of a single movement.

Of these works, the Schubert and the Scriabin are new to Nobu's repertoire, although I have seen a video clip of a very young Nobu playing the no. 4 (in A-flat major) of the Schubert impromptus in the small hall of Carnegie Hall.
Below is a video of Rubinstein playing that famous piece
And here is a video of a performance of the Scriabin sonata by Marc-André Hamelin
Another performance of that work --
Yevgeny Sudbin plays Scriabin: Sonata No. 5, op. 53

The Chopin ballades are not new to Nobu's repertoire. They were on his 2016 recital program, which was performed that year in Japan as well as in London's Wigmore Hall (I was there)
They are also tracks on his 2016 CD album 'Chopin:Etudes & Ballades'

I am a proud ticket holder to Nobu's January 14 Paris recital, and will file an eyewitness report when the time comes ---assuming the strikes in France have settled down by then. Fingers crossed.
