These are extraordinary times.
It is June 25 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic is still rampant in many parts of the world, but apparently things are sufficiently under control in Japan that a new tour for Nobu has just been announced, on dates and in venues in September previously set for the now cancelled Japan Tour with Vasily Petrenko & RLPO.
The announcement (in Japanese) is here, and seems to be put together in haste

Concert
Nobuyuki Tsujii Piano Recital THE BEST
In order to maintain social distance, the number of seats is limited to 50% of the capacity, and in a super luxurious space, you can fully enjoy the charm of Nobuyuki Tsujii's piano!
Nobuyuki Tsujii shows off best piano masterpieces one after another!
A masterpiece recital with the challenge of a special program has been urgently decided!
Below is the schedule posted:
Four performances in Fukuoka (Sept 13), Tokyo Suntory Hall (Sept 14 & 15) and Kawasaki (Sept 21). A footnote says there are additional performances in Osaka and Nagoya, to be announced.
The program is listed as follows:
Beethoven: Piano Sonata No. 14 "Moonlight"
Debussy: Moonlight
Debussy: Two Arabesque
Ravel: Pavanefor the Late Princess
Ravel: Jeux d'eau
Chopin: Nocturne No. 2
Chopin: Raindrop
Chopin: Fantasy Impromptu
Chopin : Ballade No. 1
Liszt: Consolation No. 3
Liszt: Sigh
List: La Campanella
Many of these works are ones performed in the Online Salon Concert in June 2020.
I am happy that concerts are resuming in Japan, although things still don't look so good in my own country (the U.S.). Bravos -- best wishes to Nobu and his management!
