This just showed up on the web: Nobuyuki Tsujii is listed on the program of the 2021 Musica Mundi Chamber Music Festival (July 8 - August 1), in Château du Lac (a luxury hotel) in Belgium.

Other artists on the posted festival program (https://www.musicamundi.org/festival) include pianist Grigory Sokolov and violinist Maxim Vengerov.

I must confess my ignorance of this festival, but it is part of an organization Musica Mundi [World of Music], with a home page at https://www.musicamundi.org/

"MUSICA MUNDI COURSE & FESTIVAL…since 1999

The mission of Musica Mundi is to develop the musical and human potential of young talents from all over the world. By putting these already highly gifted young talents in direct contact with other young talents from around the world, and with some of today’s greatest pedagogues and artists, the impact on their lives, in terms of development, stimulation and personal enrichment, will be immeasurable.

Driven by this philosophy, every summer for the last 22 years Musica Mundi has been holding an international chamber music course and festival for young musicians aged 10 to 20."

The Medici-TV has a documentary on the Musica Mundi Course and Festival.

Belgium is among the European countries that have struggled the most with the COVID pandemic. Let's hope the event will be able to take place as planned. Nobu's appearance is listed for July 26, and the details of the performance have yet to be provided.  This appearance comes at the heel of his July 24 Beethoven-Liszt-Chopin recital at the Verbier Festival, so that is likely what Nobu will perform.

I will keep an eye on further developments.   Please stay tuned.
