Nobuyuki Tsujii's 2025 Ireland debut

Word came today that Nobuyuki Tsujii is scheduled for a recital on February 1 2025 in Dublin, Ireland.

This performance will come between a Jan 30 concert in London's Royal Festival Hall  & a Feb 3 recital in Manchester, England, and will mark Nobu's debut in Ireland.

The recital program is the same as for his upcoming 2025 Japan recital tour and for his U.S. recitals in March.

It makes me happy that Nobu is performing in Ireland for the first time, for a special reason.

For years now, my Google search for Nobu news has often come up with a Nobu's track being on the playlist of some program on the Irish public radio RTE, in particular on the program  "Niall Carroll's Classical Daytime"

This caught my attention, as Nobu never set foot in Ireland, to my knowledge.  So I tweeted a few times about the finding.  

But it always saddened me that the tracks played on that radio station are invariably from Nobu's 2009 Cliburn Competition recordings, most recently Chopin's Etude Op.10 No.2 in A minor 'Chromatic' at 10:05 on the Niall Carroll show on March 19 of this year.  

I think I tweeted once to Mr. Carroll to thank him for playing Nobu's music, and mentioned that Nobu has many other more recent recordings, to no avail.

So I am glad Nobu is actually going to be in Ireland in person, and I will tweet to Mr. Carroll to alert him of that, in the hope that, well, perhaps they will meet in person, and perhaps Nobu's staff may bring some new albums to Mr. Carroll for RTE's broadcast.
